How hard and costly is it to brew your own beer?

If you get seriously into the hobby, you’ll spend about as much as you would on microbrew beers at a store or pub. However, you’ll never beat the price of cheap mass-produced swill like Bud or Coors and the like…you can’t compete with that kind of bulk production on an at-home scale. You *can* blow them away quality-wise, however…very easily.

As long as you can pay attention to detail in keeping all supplies properly sanitized, and have the patience to let it all ferment thoroughly, then it’s not hard, just finicky.
