I am planning to visit Las Vegas, soon. I am looking for a good hotel, which doesn’t cost too much. My budget is $50. I saw in a review site, http://www.hootershotellasvegasreview.com about Hooters Hotel. I thought Hooters only had restaurants. Can anyone tell me whether Hooters Hotel Las Vegas is any good?

I am looking for something close enough to the Strip, though not actually on it. Also, I’m planning on flying to Vegas. So, I want a place close to the airport. We’re a group of students, and we want a casino that doesn’t have very steep table limits.

Sounds like a great place for you guys. I would have mentioned it was off-strip and that it’s great for those early 20s age groups. The rooms are clean, and I believe this is the only Hooters hotel.
Also, it’s next to the Tropicana which has low-limit tables. A short walk to the MGM which will allow you to have access to the monorail which can get you all the way up north at Sahara.

Hooters is nice and affordable. Also remember you will not be spending a lot of time in your hotel room.
It’s close to the MGM Grand and there are lots to see and do in that area.
Nearby attractions include: Hofbrauhaus, IMAX Ridefilm Adventures, IMAX Theater, Manhattan Express, Orleans Bowling Center, Shark Reef, Showcase Mall, The Tomb and Museum of King Tut, Treasures of Mandalay Bay and Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas.
Here is a list of free attractions in Vegas.

i think terribles has pretty cheap rooms.. its a lil off the strip.
imperial palace is pretty cheap and its right in the middle of the strip. they have low limit tables and penny slots.

Most of them are fake, but they are still nice to look at!

I have not stayed there personally, but have visited - the casino is a bit small. It’s not too far from the MGM and transportation up the strip, so you can visit different casinos. I heard from someone who did stay there that the rooms have a kitschy “white trash” theme (i.e. the bed tables are made to look like overturned trash cans).

At night the place fills up with older men staying atthe MGM who want to feel like they are collage age again, so they head over there.
This means the table limits raise.
Want cheeap and near the strip, yet safe and comfy? try the Gold Coast next to the Rio.
