great for kids of all ages, but mostly families. we stayed next door at the luxor, but had friends with small children and went to excalibur a lot.

Well the place isn’t bad to play in, but its a kiddie theme hotel. so your gonna be tripping over them a few times. They do have a great Italian restaurant on the 2nd floor and only one of the places you can buy any liquer at a store or hotel. ( the stores don’t sell them due to rules with the hotels and casino’s) But thats a big plus cause i like to have a bottle in my room. Also it has a walk way that goes to the Luxor hotel. Other bad part tho is that your so far down on the south end of the strip, so grab a cab or a all day bus ticket for around 5 bucks a person ( but it get cramp on the bus). I prefer old vegas better, cheater drinks, and they take care of you alot better and always seemed to have a hell of a lot more fun.
have fun and good luck

Agree with previous reply. Also stayed at Luxor. Went through Excalibur most days going to the Strip. There’s a relatively new restaurant in there which is very popular, raunchy is probably the best word to describe it.
Have not heard a bad thing about it.
Have not seen the rooms but what I have seen is as clean, popular & well maintained as any other hotel on the strip

It’s nice, clean, I agree with the family atmosphere. I don’t like the casino setting it’s too congested. I like the open area like MGM.

Its a good price for what you get it.
As far as luxury, it is no where nead as nice as most of the surrounding hotels. But the rooms are clean, basic, and comfortable for familes.

It is a very nice hotel jsut not the best hotel in las vegas. I would recommend it if you can get a good deal 100 or less a night.
here are there promotions:

Excalibur, the castle, is a nice average casino. No bad incidents. They have a fantastic show Tournament of Kings, which is the only dinner show in town (family show) for about $60. And it is connected by a free tram to Luxor/pyramid next door and then Mandalay Bay. Across one corner is Tropicana, another MGM Grand, and the third is NYNY and next door is Monte Carlo.
The rooms are clean and average, nothing fancy unless you pay the price for a suite.
