I am going to las vegas for a competition and i need a hotel room for 2, with resturants in or nearby, something close to the las vegas convention center would be good since i am going to have to walk there. Safe area, Low price on room. Rooms with a kitchen, air conditioning, cable tv would be a plus.

I’ve heard that this one is pretty good:
Budget Suites Of America
3655 W Tropicana Ave
(702) 739-1000
They are supposed to have Full Sizes Suites At Budget Prices.
Enjoy!

You don’t have a lot of choices. None of the strip hotels will have kitchenettes, and once you leave the strip, the area is not the greatest. Embassy or Budget Suites are probably your best bet. Unfortunately, they are not walking distance to the LV Convention Center. I **** to say this but you are asking for a lot. You either get the pricier rooms and the strip convenience, or the kitchenette and a little travel. Good luck in your competition.

An idea would be to stay at the Sahara. It is cheap and you can take the monorail to and from the convention center. You will not have a kitchenette at any of the rooms near or on the strip. The restaurants there are cheap and you get coupons to eat there. Really consider this idea.

There are many that are cheap and the best price you will find for even the cheapest is here:

The Embassy Suites Convention Center Las Vegas rates from $99/night (you can get cheaper)
This is a good map of hotels surrounding the convention center.
But you could really stay anywhere you want to because the Las Vegas Monorail has a stop at the Las Vegas Convention Center. So as long as you are in a hotel that either has a monorail station in it or is near one, you don’t have to worry about being within walking distance. The monorail moves at like 60mph and has no traffic, so it can get from one end of the strip to the other in no time.

There is an ad for free stay at a Vegas resort if you listen to a short presentation on the resort. It is in Backpage.com. Can’t get any cheaper than that. I’ll list the link below.
