Is anyone familiar with the Hooters hotel/casino in Las Vegas?

My boyfriend and I are planning a trip to Las Vegas in the spring and want to stay at Hooters. Is this a nice place to stay? (I know from the name not to expect a high-class, fancy hotel.) What is there to do there or near there? Thanks!

Its pretty much like all the other small casinos in Las Vegas. It is near other things so you can walk or take the bus to visit the rest of the city.
You should not have to ask what is there to do if you have ever been to Vegas, there is too much to do to write it done here.

Hooters is nice and affordable. Also remember you will not be spending a lot of time in your hotel room.
It’s close to the MGM Grand and there are lots to see and do in that area.
Nearby attractions include: Hofbrauhaus, IMAX Ridefilm Adventures, IMAX Theater, Manhattan Express, Orleans Bowling Center, Shark Reef, Showcase Mall, The Tomb and Museum of King Tut, Treasures of Mandalay Bay and Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas.
Here is a list of free attractions in Vegas.

The Hooters Hotel/Casino is actually pretty nice. They have a decent pool and are almost right on the strip (less than 1/2 block east).
Have a good trip.

Hi Karin, I think you guys would have fun at the Hooters Hotel, here you can find a little more detailed information on it :
My favorite Hotel there is the MGM Grand which is right accross the street and there is tons of things to do there as well, Mandalay Bay is also nearby as well as the Luxor and Excalibur…. I like to at least hit two shows everytime I’m there and you can find information on them here:
Wish you guys the best, I’m sure you’ll have fun

“the Dam restuarant” = GREAT HUGE NACHOS!
my aunt and uncle stayed there and were’nt really happy with the rooms, but i think they are generally a bit fussy. its a bare minimum deal being that its techincally off strip, but if you’re not looking for high-class bellagio, i think you’ll be just fine.
