Try this link. Although not “official” star ratings, there is lots of info on the hotels there.

They are nearly all the same, sort of mediocre 4 star trying to impress sums em up
that said I have stayed at the Luxor twice and Ceasars once
but all the strip majors are adequate
check online it’s easy to find out what is what
and which ones specialise in what
have a grt time its a brilliant place if your not a gambler

is a good resource. For a listing of hotels with ratings go to and follow the links to vegas hotels. Good Luck. Just for the record my favorit 5 Vegas hotels are:
1. Bellagio
2 The Venetian
3. The Wynn
4. Ballys
5. MGM Grand

Luxor is the best, it’s rating is 4 stars but if you love the originality & amazing attention to detail & ancient Egypt then its a 5 star hotel.

I just booked my trip to vegas staying at Treasure Island, I found Trip advisor really good, it gave the ratings (by trip advisor memebers) of the hotels, but also the actual ratings of the hotels.
Hope this helps! : )

Make contact with some whone who lives there
and he can tell you some hotels.
Or just search true the web.

Doesn’t really matter which one you stay in, all the big ones are similar high quality/standards.
If you stay off the strip (for example Travelodge or Days Inn) they are much cheaper (but perfectly adequate) if you are on a tight budget.
You aren’t going to spend much time in your room anyway…..
You can walk in and out of all of the big casino hotels (they want you to use THEIR slot machines….) to marvel at everything.
We stayed at the Luxor and loved it!

I purchased a book “The Unofficial Guide to Las Vegas” it’s an absolute fountain of knowledge. It has top 100 ratings, it rates everything to do with las vegas, also all the ameneties in Vegas, any construction work that is going on.
Well it’s a GREAT book, I suggest you get it.

Hi
As already has been suggested have a look at Lasvegas.com but if you are planning to visit for less than a week look very carefully at the different days of the week as weekends tend to be alot more which is not necessarily the case in other towns and resorts.
Hope this is helpful
