So why does homemade wine smell funny?
For years friends and family have been asking me to try their homemade wine – and for every one, I have the same complaint – it has a chemical-like smell. Is this simply an issue of not aging the wine enough or is there some secret process or ingrediant in store bought wines that is missing from the Home Brew Kits?
