if you don’t care, just go on priceline…..you could end up with a great hotel, cheap cheap

LV hotel info
Within a mile or so of the strip
Orleans
Gold Coast
Palace Station >Palace
Downtown
El Cortez
The Stratosphere.
Is not “technically” on the strip, but it is on LV Blvd S, just North of the main hotel cluster.

Hey, I’m traveling too this thursday! And when I looked, even saw it on GoogleEarth, I saw some MOTELS near the strip that you can just take a bus and that’s it.
Days Inn I looked, travelodge, Comfort Inn, try those ones, I’m sure you’ll find something
I’m staying at the circus circus, I wanted that and also, I didn’t knew it is one of the cheapest hotels in the strip, check the rates there too, sometimes it’s almost the same.

Try Gold Coast casino or Orleans Casino which are just west of the Strip, both properties

the sahara is pretty cheap duing the week, around 45 to 50 bucks or go to one of the motels on skid row.

ive been living in vegas for the past 9 months. the first month i was here, i had to live in hotels. the cheapest i could find is the “Western hotel and casino” in downtown. i paid about $14 a night. Im sure you could find some good deals if you look around. I always found the best deals here . I wouldnt recommend staying at the western if you are traveling with your family because the Downtown Las Vegas area can be a little rough. The only hotels in downtown i would recommend would be the “El Cortez” and the “Four Queens”. As far as hotels on the strip go, you can expect to pay the same amount on a Super 8 motel than you would on a big hotel/casino.Make sure you reserve now. As we aproach the holidays, rooms will be less plentiful and overpriced.

the” wild west”..it is close to the strip…my friend stayed…said it wasn’t as bad as rumored….the “westin” across from “ballys” has happy hour… gambling at 5:00pm Mon-Thur…one dollar min crap table & 25 cent roullett..it one block off the strip(behind the old barbary coast casino) ..and is a really nice hotel…it’s the best gambling deal on the strip..good luck bro…

I stayed at the Stratosphere for $50 a night. It wasn’t bad at all, actually kinda nice. Plus you can go up the tower and check out the view. It’s at the far end of the strip but it’s no big deal, short walk or bus ride and you’re in the thick of things.
