Six of my friends and I are flying out to Las Vegas in June for my birthday…. We’re not looking to spend a whole lot, but we want a really fun and chill hotel. What do ya recommend?

Since it is your 21st, you want to definitely go for a hotel that is themed and on the strip. If you spend too little, you will be stuck in a cheap hotel off the strip that you won’t enjoy. You should all pitch in and get in on one room and then set up cots if you can since you’ll be partying away anyhow.
Here are some reviews of hotels with some deals to them as well:
The hotels you may enjoy most possibly within your price range are The Palms, MGM, Mirage etc.

If you want to stay on the strip, and not spend too much. Treasure Island is your place. If you are all sharing a room it won’t be that bad.

Although I have not stayed there yet I have a reservation for a Go room at the Flamingo. Here is why I decided on the hotel:
Center strip
GREAT pools
Part of Harrah’s so they have a shuttle to all their poperties for free (Rio, Imperial Palace, Paris, Harrah’s, etc.)
Margarittaville on site
Natural habbitat with wild life
New Go rooms that have gotten good reviews (pillow top beds, huge flat screen, tv in mirror in bath, cd/ipod station, wireless internet)
VERY reasonable prices, they guarantee best price if you book through them.
Views of Bellagio, Ceasers, strip
There are tons of great hotels, but feel that I will get the most for my money at this place, not as nice as some others, but for the rate I do not think you can beat it.
Have a very happy birthday!

Planet Hollywood. Young and hip. Not too expensive but new and has class. I bet you and your friends will have whole lot of fun there!
p.s very good location, too.
Early happy birthday

It doesn’t really matter where you stay. You won’t spend much time there unless your using the pool.
I’d recommend staying on the strip however, as that can save you tons in Cab fares.

Planet Hollywood! It’s new and totally VIP. It’s on the center of the strip, within walking distance of all the other strip casinos and there is a mall inside! They also have the #1 rated buffet, the Spice Market. I stayed there last August and it was amazing. The staff were great and my husband and I got the VIP treatment the entire time!
